Sunset at Ashover Rock, Derbyshire

A totally glorious evening watching the sun set over Derbyshire.

Ashover Rock is a relatively quiet place and never too busy. It’s also well hidden, I wouldn’t have heard about it if it wasn’t for another photographer but I’m so glad I know about it now.

Stunning views in all directions and the rock itself as a focus point but when you look out over the valley below it’s just breathtaking. it’s just a great place to be creative.

This was taken with the new Canon 5D mkIV that I borrowed. Compared to my mark II this is so many leaps ahead. It’s incredible and will be on my Christmas list that’s for sure.

Sunset was about 8:20pm late April 2017
