Cromford Canal, Derbyshire

Cromford Canal, Derbyshire

The weather was glorious so I used it as a reason to get out the house with the family…and the camera.

Cromford Canal is just a short, pleasant walk along the old canal originally used by Arkwright at the turn of industrial revolution.

There’s only canal boat that travels up and down this short stretch carrying tourists to the area so it’s very peaceful but always busy with other walkers.

As the trees grow their leaves the canopy becomes darker but stunningly beautiful.
