Landscape companion

Just a little update as I’ve not posted for a while. Things have just been so busy recently that I’ve not had a chance to get out on a landscape journey. I’m itching to get out somewhere so will be looking and hoping for good weather this bank holiday weekend so I can get something shot…even if it’s not a great photo, I just want to photograph some kind of landscape. A companion… I now have a little companion for […]

Porthtowan Sunset

Porthtowan sunset

Another post from my trip to Cornwall to get married. We’d had an amazing week. Very few words can describe how wonderful it was to share our special with close friends and family but on top of all this I was able to take some wonderful photos.

The lone surfer at Porthtowan, Cornwall

The lone surfer

During my week in Cornwall (to get married!) I was aiming to get some gorgeous coastal photos. On my actual wedding day I woke up really early so went for a walk along the beach at Porthtowan, Cornwall.

Mam Tor, Derbyshire

A sunset walk along the beach

Not the greatest but at the time was a top choice in the budget market. It’s taken looking across towards Carbis Bay near St Ives in Cornwall in late January 2010. I dug this photo out while going through an old hard drive. I liked this photo so […]

Sunset at Ashover Rock, Derbyshire

A totally glorious evening watching the sun set over Derbyshire. Ashover Rock is a relatively quiet place and never too busy. It’s also well hidden, I wouldn’t have heard about it if it wasn’t for another photographer but I’m so glad I know about it now. Stunning views in all directions and the rock itself as a focus point but when you look out over the valley below it’s just breathtaking. it’s just a great place to be creative. This […]
